APPLICATION –
CITIES
Interested Cities submit their Call applications, including a mission statement and project descriptions, together with an organisational, technical and democratic self-evaluation.
ADMISSION –
ECOD NPO
ECoD NPO screens Applications and documents for admissibility and completeness, including a check of the prerequisites, and informs Applicant Cities about the admission to the Call and ECN.
EVALUATION –
EXPERTS’ JURY
The Experts’ Jury evaluates all Call submissions, visits the most promising contenders and draws up a Shortlist of max. three Nominee Cities.
SELECTION –
CITIZENS’ JURY
The Citizens’ Jury selects the European Capital of Democracy from the list of Nominee Cities.
